I haven’t been able to expand the “and X others” list for a few days now. Problem persists on Chrome desktop and mobile.

Same here, on FF. Last Friday I emailed kinja help, and Steve replied to clear browser cache/temporary files and cookies, etc. I did as instructed but it didn’t help. I replied to Steve that I was still having the problem, but I haven’t heard back.

Just noticed that today.

That part works for me, but dear god doing any kind of typing on Chrome mobile is a complete disaster. The cursor will randomly jump around and start typing in the middle or beginning of a sentence for no reason, and some function of Kinja is constantly at odds with autocorrect which results in constant fuckery. A five sentence paragraph ends up taking 30 minutes to type coherently.

Yup.

Yeah, I’ve been having that problem too. Very annoying.

Stroke victim kinja? That’s front page typing for me but less so on Oppo. I’ve never figured that out.

Just wait. Kinja doesn't leave anyone behind.

Yeah. Now that I’ve said that, nothing will work for me tomorrow.

I’ve had the same issue, I thought it was just my new cheap phone.

Which Android version are you on and are you using the most updated version of Chrome? This bug was prevalent about 18 months ago, but has been fixed since then.

Thanks for the report, I see the issue there. Unfortunately this isn’t a core feature, so we likely wont get around to fixing it very quickly. But we’ll get to it when we have some free time for bug fixing peripherals.

Android 6.0.1 with Chrome 51.0.2704.81 on a Nexus 5

That’s really odd, it should be working on that combo. If you have a multiple keyboards installed, could you try a different one and let me know if there’s any change?

Any ETA on a fix for this? I know it's not core, but it's rather annoying :)

No update yet. Sorry friend. If I had to estimate, I’d say it could be about a month out.

Darn. Thank you for the response, though!
